Finnish sim racing hardware company Simucube has confirmed that its new Simucube 3 Ultimate direct drive wheelbase will be available for hands-on testing during the upcoming edition of SimRacing Expo Charlotte, marking the first time the public will be able to experience the product at a live event.
The announcement represents an important step in the company’s strategy to position the Simucube 3 Ultimate as its new benchmark within the premium sim racing segment, a market that continues to raise its standards in terms of power, precision, and driving fidelity.
A direct drive wheelbase focused on maximum responsiveness and performance

The Simucube 3 Ultimate arrives as the flagship model of the Simucube 3 lineup and promises an experience aimed at both professional drivers and advanced sim racing enthusiasts.
The wheelbase features a Spoke IPM motor capable of delivering up to 35 Nm of peak torque, placing it among the most powerful wheelbases currently available on the market. According to the company, this motor type also offers the fastest response characteristics within the entire Simucube 3 family, with the goal of improving key aspects such as force feedback reaction speed and detail transmission while driving.
The current trend in the high-end sim racing segment has shifted toward systems that prioritize not only raw power, but also precision, low latency, and consistency during extended driving sessions. In that context, Simucube appears to be focusing on a platform centered around driving fidelity and competitive performance.
SimRacing Expo Charlotte will host the first public test
The hands-on debut of the Simucube 3 Ultimate will take place throughout all three days of SimRacing Expo Charlotte, which will be held from May 22 to May 24 at the Charlotte Convention Center.
For the demonstration, Simucube will share booth C6+7 with DrivenDynamiX, where attendees will be able to test the wheelbase installed in a complete cockpit setup equipped with the company’s hardware.
The collaboration with DrivenDynamiX also highlights an approach focused on showcasing a complete simulation ecosystem, something increasingly common at specialized sim racing events. These kinds of demonstrations allow manufacturers to present the real-world behavior of their hardware under conditions that closely resemble a competitive environment.
Official keynote focused on the Simucube 3 Ultimate

In addition to the public demo sessions, Simucube will also have a presence on the event’s main stage.
The company will host an official keynote on Friday, May 23 at 3:00 PM, a presentation specifically centered around the Simucube 3 Ultimate that will likely provide further insight into the wheelbase’s technical details, design philosophy, and positioning within the premium market.
Appearing on the main stage reflects the importance the company places on this launch, especially at a time when the sim racing industry continues to grow both competitively and commercially.
