Simucube has announced a new round steering wheel called Valo GT-23. Here is the note with the features and details.
Simucube, a leading innovator in the world of high-performance sim racing equipment, is thrilled to introduce its latest product, the Valo GT-23 wheel. Valo GT-23 wheel was already featured in Sim Racing Expo 2022, but now it is finally available for sim racers to buy. The live release event will be held on the Simucube Twitch channel.
The new wheel offers advanced features and a robust, stylish look. The new Valo GT-23 wheel features dual clutches with hall effect sensors, allowing for rapid starts or convenient handbrake control, ensuring hands stay on the wheel. 18 RGB LEDs provide data from the game, ensuring fast reaction times.
The grand objective of the design process was to leave a mark and proudly showcase what Simucube is truly capable of achieving for steering wheels. The result is a totally black wheel from the front, with orange raw energy captured inside and underneath, perfectly reflecting the essence of the people it is made for. Exposing the raw rim was deliberately avoided to achieve a design distinct from the usual boxy style. A dualistic style was maintained, balancing the pure sleek front plate with a functional back part.
Features of the Simucube Valo GT-23 Wheel:
- Dual clutches with hall effect sensors and adjustable bite point position allowing for rapid, precise starts or convenient handbrake control, so you can keep your hands on the wheel at all times.
- 18 RGB LEDs with easy telemetry effects setup in Tuner: RPM / Shift lights, ABS, DRS, Speed limiter, Flags. Supported in all the same games as ActivePedal.
- 2 x thumb rotary encoders by Bourns with 20 pulses per revolution, rated to last 100 thousand cycles. Encoders have a very pleasant and intuitive ergonomic position, featuring precise control during racing, with also a push button for extra functionality.
- D-shaped wheel lets you tackle all driving styles with ease without changing the wheel – something pure Formula wheels might not handle. Alcantara for grip and durability. Black anodized CNC milled aluminium for rigidness and zero flex. Gloves are recommended to keep the surface pure!
- 2 x shifters with N52 magnets, Omron micro switches and adjustable position have excellent constant feel and satisfying magnetic snap. Rated to last 1 million presses.
- 10 x buttons with durable Apem Tactile Switches and sturdy aluminium guards, rated to last through 10 million presses.
- 2 x front rotary knobs by Bourns with 20 pulses per revolution, rated to last 100 thousand cycles. Matching the quality of thumb rotaries.
- 2 x 7-way joysticks by industry standard Alps Alpine with 4 directions, rotary encoder and middle button.
