Special Event: iRacing SCCA Runoffs hosted by Sim Lab

This week we have a new special event in iRacing, the iRacing SCCA Runoffs presented by Sim Lab Special Event. This is a very particular event that consists of 8 different series that will compete in different races during the week to qualify for the special event on Sunday.

These categories will race exclusively at Virginia International Raceway and you will be able to compete with: USF 2000, GT4, Ford Mustan FR500, TCR, Formula Vee, Spec Racer Ford, Mazda MX-5 or GT1. Each series has a race every 4 hours and between them they have a difference of half an hour, that is to say, in 4 hours you can run the 8 series in intervals of 30 minutes.

To qualify for the main race on the weekend, you will have to compete in at least 4 races during the week in order to score points. On the day of the race, of all the people who register, only the first N drivers who are at the top of the leaderboard will be allowed to participate in the race. The number of drivers per race varies depending on each of the categories.

So if you want to participate in a rather special event and rank among the best in a category, you have until October 22nd to score as many points as you can!
