Straight4 and Reiza Studios Officially Announce Partnership

Ian Bell secures an important ally in his return to the media spotlight. Reiza Studios, who supported Automobilista 2 using the MADNESS engine created by SMS (formerly Bell’s studio), will now join forces with his new company to create the next major title.

Straight4 Studios announced today a strategic partnership with Reiza Studios, creators of classic racing simulation titles like Automobilista and Automobilista 2. Straight4 Studios boasts many key talents who have shaped the legacy of simulation racing for over two decades, including AAA bestsellers like the GTR® series and the award-winning Project CARS franchise, honored with the “Best Simulation” award at gamescom on two occasions and with millions of sales.

The studios will combine their decades of experience in creating iconic simulation racing titles, starting with Straight4’s upcoming racing simulation title.

“Renato and I have been discussing this possibility for a long time, ever since they created Automobilista 2 using our MADNESS engine back then. Everyone at Straight4 was immensely impressed with what Renato and his studio achieved in terms of sensations and handling with Automobilista 2 . Combining the talents of our studios is exciting news for everyone at Straight4, and I have full confidence that it will also be fantastic news for the entire simulation racing industry,” said IAN BELL, CEO of Straight4.

“Ian and I have been talking about this strategic partnership for some time, but our studios have always ended up working on different projects at different times, delaying any kind of decision. Finally, with Ian and his team working hard on their upcoming game, the right time has come to join forces. Seeing the new project Straight4 is working on, it was an easy decision for Reiza to join a project we believe will be the next major simulation racing title. We will soon have more news about our game portfolio for our fans in the coming days,” said Renato Simioni, CEO of Reiza Studios.

Straight4’s new racing simulation title, still unnamed, will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and will be a spiritual return to the glorious days of simulation racing, featuring a new exclusive physics engine and cutting-edge graphics.

The new game will be published by PLAION.
