The Mustang GT3 is no ordinary car. Developed in collaboration with Multimatic Motorsports, the U.S.-based engineering firm with decades of real-world motorsport experience, it packs a 5.3-litre Coyote V8 engine under the hood that, let’s be honest, sounds exactly how a muscle car turned racing machine should sound. It received an Evo update kit in 2025, though all signs point to the version coming to the game being the first-generation car, the same one that appeared in Assetto Corsa Competizione back in 2023. Welcome back, legend.
The Mustang won’t be arriving alone. It will be joined by the Ferrari 296 GT3, a car that simracing fans have been eagerly waiting for. Together, they will join the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, which until now has been the sole GT3 representative in the game. Having three GT3 cars of this calibre in a single update would already be significant news on its own, but Marco Massarutto, co-founder and Executive Manager of Kunos Simulazioni, has hinted at something even more promising:
That line carries real weight. More racing cars. It means the Mustang and the Ferrari may not be the last GT3 cars announced before the update launches.
And if the cars are big news, the circuit is no afterthought either. Sebring International Raceway is also coming with v0.6, one of the most iconic venues in North American endurance motorsport, notorious for its rough, bumpy asphalt and its ability to punish both cars and drivers alike. It’s a choice that fits perfectly with the more racing-focused direction this update promises.

When Does It All Arrive?
Kunos has not provided an official release date, but the pace of the teasers being released suggests we could be looking at just a few weeks away. For those of us who have been following the game’s Early Access development closely, v0.6 has every sign of being the meaningful step forward many have been waiting for.
