In a recent post on Twitter, the iRacing account showed us an image of what will be a new addition to the simulator. And it’s none other than the acclaimed Clio Cup, a car beloved by many people in both simulators and reality.
In the upcoming weeks, we will have the current Renault Clio R.S. V in the simulator, powered by a Renault HR13 4-cylinder engine with 1330 cm3 Turbo. It also features a 6-speed sequential transmission, Michelin S9M tires, and a total weight of 1030 kg.
With this, one of the most commonly used cars in “school” championships around the world will be available in iRacing for the first time, further increasing the available content. However, if not handled carefully, this could be a double-edged sword.
