In the documentary soon to be streamed on Netflix, Schumacher’s family spoke for the first time about the driver stricken by a skiing accident in 2013.
Streaming giant Netflix will stream the documentary about record-breaking Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher on its platform. The documentary “Schumacher” will be shown exclusively on Netflix from September 15, although it was already released in 2019 in theaters in Switzerland, and is the only film supported by his family.
His wife Corinna Schumacher and his two children Gina and Mick, currently a Formula 1 driver for the Haas team, spoke for the first time about their husband and father in “very personal interviews,” a statement said. Her father and brother Ralf, as well as many other colleagues, also offer their testimonies about the multi-time Formula 1 champion.
With seven world championship titles, Schumacher holds the record alongside Lewis Hamilton, and the German, now 52, celebrated a total of 91 victories in the premier class. In 2013, Schumacher had a serious accident on a skiing trip. Since then, he has been fighting for his recovery, shielded from the public.
