Thrustmaster has been releasing new peripherals, accompanied by a mysterious slogan hinting at a new era. What we know for certain is that they have a new Direct Drive base ready, compatible with Playstation 5 , which promises to surpass their previous T818 model.
Yesterday, we received a PDF from Thrustmaster, where they discussed the end of the first generation of Direct Drive technology. Supposedly, the launch of their new base, compatible with PlayStation 5, will mark such a significant leap that it will usher in a new era for simulation.
These seem like bold claims for a brand that, despite holding a leadership position in certain sectors, was somewhat late to the Direct Drive party. While their product was solid, it failed to stand out among the wide range of options currently available.
Nevertheless, this has generated some anticipation for the presentation date: October 4th.
Happy Racing!

I hope they have a great product with better resolution but we haven’t heard anything on the grape vine and if it were a new design it would need software integration for it and no one has said anything about a new FF system on that side either.
It’s probably just their implementation of True Force, which is gimmicky.
