Experience all the intensity of driving with the T818. Featuring Direct Drive technology, the T818 has been specially designed with both performance and realistic response in mind. Its angular acceleration has been optimised for smooth, powerful, turbocharged force feedback with ultra-fast response time. No filters are applied to the effects conveyed by the game, for stunning realism and instant pick-up of crucial driving information. But be careful, because you will feel every detail, but even the smallest mistakes will cost you dearly. The T818 gives expert racing drivers full control of their vehicles, if they can handle all that power.
OPTIMISED ANGULAR ACCELERATION
The T818’s design has been optimised to fully exploit the potential of Force Feedback Direct Drive technology. The custom-designed motor takes into account the weight of the Thrustmaster steering wheel rims and delivers a constant 10 N⋅m of torque, without saturation, to deliver exceptional angular acceleration. The result: smooth, powerful, turbocharged force feedback that lets you feel the sensations of real-world driving.
UNFILTERED POWER
The effects conveyed by the game are replicated by the T818 without any filters, for an incredibly detailed and accurate reflection of the game developer’s true intentions. The more information you have at your fingertips, the better you can get to know every aspect of the vehicle you are driving, including its limits. But be careful, because any mistakes you make will be even more costly. No one ever said it was easy to drive at 200 km/h.
QUICK RELEASE STEERING WHEEL LOCKING SYSTEM
The T818 marks the beginning of the new “Fast Release” steering wheel fastening system: now you can change racing steering wheel rims in just 5 seconds, without tools. The system is compatible with all next-generation Thrustmaster steering wheel rims or rims equipped with the Quick Release Adapter. When you’re racing, every gram counts: made of aluminium and high-strength plastic, this system ensures a solid hold without adding unnecessary weight, thus maintaining the mass of the T818’s shaft.
BACKWARD AND FORWARD COMPATIBILITY
The T818 racing wheel base is compatible with all steering wheel rims in the Thrustmaster racing ecosystem, thanks to the Quick Release Adapter. Thrustmaster’s pedal sets, shifters and handbrakes* are also 100% compatible. The T818 even features an RJ45 port that will support a new kind of ecosystem in the future.

DYNAMIC RGB LED
RGB LEDs with hexagonal design are integrated into the front of the T818. Create your preferred lighting ambience by adjusting the colours and intensity of the LEDs. The LEDs can even interact with the telemetry data transmitted by the game, providing you with additional visual information. The list of compatible games and available features is regularly updated on Thrustmaster’s support website.
CUSTOMISATION AND ADAPTABILITY
Customise the look of your T818 with interchangeable metal plates. There are 5 colours available at launch, allowing you to easily change your styles. Using the 4 fixing points on the underside of the T818, the Cockpit Mounting Kit* and Desk Mounting Kit* allow you to easily adapt the T818 to suit your setup.
