Two New Rallycross Layouts Coming to iRacing

This weekend has been full of news in iRacing, and now it’s Rallycross‘ turn to get some love. In this case there are two new Rallycross tracks, one in Charlotte that will be free for all Simracers, and the other will be at Brands Hatch.

In the case of Brands Hatch, it will be a circuit that will mostly pass through the Indy variant but with some detours and escapes in turn 1 and 3, where it will pass through the earth. In addition, just after turn 2 there will be a ramp to generate the jumps during the race. Previously, a number of real life rallies have been held on this circuit, but since 2004 Brands Hatch has not held a rallies race, so we will have a unique circuit within iRacing.

For Charlotte, it will be another oval with a Rallycross variant on the circuit, as is currently the case on almost all iRacing Rallycross tracks. As it is a free circuit, this variant will also be free for all iRacing users. The cars will only go through the oval at the exit, making the first curve as the Roval de la Nascar circuit, but already in the infield varies a little more the track, having land in much of its extension.

Both circuits will be available from the build of the first season of 2021.

See you on the track!
