The F1 travels to its most modest GP. The Hungaroring circuit is not big, modern, or fast, and furthermore, the tickets are cheap. It’s an anomaly on a calendar increasingly filled with spectacles rather than competition in countries with significant investors.
It’s said to be a Monaco without walls, very demanding on the physical and mental levels for the drivers, and not so much for the cars. If rain comes into play, we might have surprises like in recent years. Otherwise, it seems like an ideal territory for someone to challenge Red Bull, but given what we’ve seen, one shouldn’t get their hopes up too much.
