Sim Racing Challenge: Verstappen, Ricciardo, and Checo Perez Enjoying Together!

After spending half of the season as a reserve driver for both Checo Pérez and Max Verstappen, Daniel Ricciardo is all set to make a remarkable comeback to the racing grid. This time, he’ll be a full-fledged driver for AlphaTauri.

The Australian driver will replace Nyck De Vries starting at the Hungarian Grand Prix, with high hopes of securing a permanent spot within the Austrian racing team for the 2025 season.

However, before bidding farewell to the Milton Keynes team, Ricciardo shared some enjoyable moments, providing valuable assistance to the Dutch and Mexican drivers during the recent Silverstone Grand Prix.

In his final race as Red Bull’s reserve driver, Daniel Ricciardo couldn’t resist having some light-hearted fun with both Checo Pérez and Max Verstappen. Throughout his second stint with the Austrian outfit, the Australian driver proved to be a social media sensation, delighting fans with entertaining content featuring the Mexican and Dutch drivers.

During the Silverstone weekend, Ricciardo took on the role of guiding “Supermax” Verstappen through the British circuit using the racing simulator with the F1 23, while the world champion, Verstappen, had his eyes playfully covered.

On his part, Checo Pérez operated the simulator pedals without being able to see the screen, relying solely on Daniel Ricciardo’s eyes. However, true to his style, the Australian driver prioritized humor over virtual race success, and things got out of control.

In the video posted by Red Bull Racing, you can see the two-time world champion going off-track in several corners, while Ricciardo comments with laughter, “This is good. This is very, very good.”
