F1 2019 – Patch 1.09

Codemasters has released a new update for F1 2019 with some fixes for AI R&D progression in career and realistic performance.

Patch 1.09 is now out for PS4 and PC. You can check out the patch notes below:

  • Realistic performance can now be enabled in Leagues
  • AI can now be disabled when using official cars in Leagues
  • Skill rating rebalancing
  • Safety rating rebalancing
  • Balancing fixes for AI R&D progression in career
  • Added additional support for Fanatec wheels
  • Fixed an exploit on Time Trial in France
  • Tyre compounds have been updated in Brazil, USA & Mexico
  • Reduced off-track surface grip on approach to turn 12 in Brazil
  • Various other fixes and stability improvements

With this patch, we’ve made some balancing fixes for AI R&D progression in career. These adjustments will be more noticeable the earlier you are in your career mode playthrough. The fixes may not be as immediately noticeable if you’re in the later seasons of your career.

We are continuing to track down and fix more bugs and we’ll have more information about any further patches soon.
