F1 Manager 2022 Will Be Released on August 25th

The most anticipated F1 videogame of the year, even ahead of Codemasters’ F1 Manager 2022 , now has a release date. It will be released this summer, specifically on August 25, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series consoles. Furthermore, its starting price will be around $50. Of course, depending on where you live, it may be cheaper on a PC. However, if you pre-order the game, you will receive a 10% discount.

The F1 Manager 2022 is a complete departure from what we’ve come to expect from Codemasters games. It is not a game in which we drive cars, but rather we are the directors of one of the F1 teams and must manage everything that comes with it. From vehicle development to hiring new pilots, managing new parts, and issuing race orders, we will be in charge of nearly everything.

The game itself looks fantastic, especially given that it is a management game in the style of Tycoon or the well-known Motorsport Manager, and it goes above and beyond as promised. Furthermore, during race broadcasts, we will hear the official F1 commentary, and we will even hear the drivers’ voices on the radio when they report any news from the track. Without a doubt, the entire management team has worked tirelessly to provide us with an experience similar to that of TV broadcasts.

We’ve included the first gameplay video as well as the developers’ official notes.

After several years of development in close collaboration with F1®, Team Frontier gives you the opportunity to enter the captivating, pressuring and exciting world of the pinnacle of motorsport. As Team Manager, you will have to guide an official F1® team to glory through intelligent management and strategy both on and off the track.

On race weekends, forge a path to success using data, driver feedback and intuition. Give detailed orders to your drivers, apply the optimal strategy and react to unpredictable moments to achieve victory. Away from the track, make all the key decisions and establish a long-term plan for your team. Balance the books and work within the cost limit. Develop new parts for your cars. Find and hire real-world F1® drivers and staff for your team. Expand and improve facilities. Vote on regulations and adapt to changes as your journey takes you through multiple seasons and decades.

Starting August 25, the power is in your hands to control the future of an F1® team, writing the next chapter of its legacy. Will you attempt to guide a struggling team to the front of the grid? Will you hire young talent from the F2™ and F3™ lineups and develop the sport’s next superstar? Do you have what it takes to set new records and lead the next dominant force in F1®? It’s all in your hands.

See you on the track!
