Forza Motorsport: First Track Videos Revealed

Recently, we showcased the grand reveal of the Road America circuit within the captivating world of Forza Motorsport. However, this exciting revelation has been swiftly followed by Turn 10’s strategic initiation of a comprehensive promotional drive for their forthcoming game.

Their spotlight is directed towards the rich and varied environments that will define the Forza Motorsport experience. Through a series of dynamic videos, a fascinating assortment of brand-new circuits is being introduced, hinting at the gradual unveiling of the complete track roster slated for the game’s highly anticipated launch.

A Mix of Classic and New Tracks

It’s not just the official Twitter account presenting tracks through short clips. Several tracks are being unveiled via the YouTube channel. The most recent addition to this lineup is the British Silverstone circuit, which seems to include various layouts, including the classic circuit. What’s intriguing is the combination of confirmed tracks from the initial list of 12 and some new additions.

For instance, Road America is a prime example, joining the ranks alongside Kyalami, which was showcased in videos focusing on drivatars and gameplay physics. Ultimately, the game’s allure largely rests on the variety of tracks available for races.

The Track Dilemma

A roster of 20 tracks, interpreted as environments, might seem limited. The potential downside is that Turn 10 has always recognized the importance of this aspect but hasn’t necessarily committed to substantial post-release additions. While some tracks have been omitted in past editions, the overall strategy hasn’t been deeply involved in this area. Even with only a partial track list, many might feel the absence of certain favorites.

The term “20 tracks” likely refers to environments, hinting at a potentially higher count of actual race tracks. Take the example of Silverstone with its multiple variants, including the classic, contemporary, divisions, and the circuit known from the 90s and early games of the series.

Real and Imagined Environments

It’s important to note that Forza Motorsport won’t solely offer real-world environments. The return of a classic Forza Motorsport track, Maple Valley, has been confirmed. Images from an internal event were leaked from there, revealing rain effects. Additionally, being an American studio, they seem inclined to incorporate tracks associated with NASCAR and IndyCar, exemplified by Road America and oval circuits.

For now, detailed information about Forza Motorsport remains elusive. Nonetheless, there’s ample time before the game’s October release. Keeping a watchful eye, we’ll likely uncover the complete list of tracks, vehicles, post-launch plans, and hopefully, more circuits. What track do you wish was included?

Forza Motorsport’s Arrival

Forza Motorsport is set to arrive on October 10 for Xbox Series X|S consoles and PC, directly accessible through Xbox Game Pass.
