iRacing has presented in a video what will arrive in the next season. In this particular case, the new damage model that little by little is coming to more variety of cars in the simulator.
For next season, the following cars will have such a detailed damage model:
- Dallara iR-01
- Formula Renault 2.0
- Street Stock
- 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS and Ford Thunderbird
The damage to these cars and the classic NASCAR cars are amazing, the way the parts come off is unique in any other simulator.
In addition to the visual changes, we are assured that the following improvements will be coming to the simulator:
- Changes to wheel physics for more consistent impacts.
- More accurate wheel-to-wheel impacts
This model is yet to arrive to the most popular iRacing categories, but we know that little by little it will arrive and in some extra seasons, it will be available in the totality of vehicles.
