Stay until the end, you won’t want to miss out on any of these games.
Forza Motorsport
Forza Motorsport is being built with the renewed Forza Tech engine and focused on next-generation consoles and PC. It is expected to include improvements such as multiple tire compound options and improved fuel consumption and tire wear. There will also be the usual variety of cars and tracks, as well as a new day/night progression system and a new damage model. The graphics are also expected to be impressive.

Focus on realism and esports compatibility
The aforementioned improvements will make the experience more realistic and compatible with more serious and endurance racing. The developers are also exploring esports opportunities around this title and are hoping to improve multiplayer, with online races becoming more prominent events.

Release details
Forza Motorsport will be released in the spring of 2023 on PC and Game Pass, but will not be available on Xbox One.
INDYCAR Game
An official license of The Real World Series and in partnership with Motorsport Games. It is expected to be a strong competitor in the more accessible racing simulation category.
We don’t yet have any trailers or gameplay footage of Indycar, but screenshots on Twitter show that the game is well underway. There have also been images of drivers being scanned to be included in the game, suggesting that you’ll be able to play as and compete against real drivers, just like in Formula One games.

Developer: Motorsport Games
Motorsport Games is the developer of Indica and also makes all the Nascar games. It recently acquired rFactor, which is one of the most realistic racing simulators.
WRC Series
The next game is exciting news for the WRC series. Developer Kylaton has been in charge of the game for the past seven years, but is now being handed over to Codemasters, owned by EA, everyone’s favorite developer.
WRC Generations was just recently released, but it’s very possible we’ll see the next game quite soon, this time in the form of WRC 23. A goal scheme that would put it in line with F1 and other sports games offered under EA.

New features in the next game
An EA insider has revealed that Codemasters will include many new features in the game, including the ability to build your own rally car from scratch. This would supposedly involve purchasing the engine, brake, suspension and gearbox, among others, as well as making key design decisions, such as the type of traction. To me it sounds quite similar to the last F1 R&D system, but taken to the next level in a format that works for rally cars.
F1 Game
The next Formula 1 game, is also on its way. We already know some things about this game. For example, it is expected to include a narrative element, like the story mode of F1 2021, “Breaking Point”. The cosplay option is also expected to return, which was very popular in F1 22. We may also see updates to the career mode or “my team”. F1 23 is expected for late June or early July of 2023.
RENNSPORT
RennSport is a new serious racing simulator that will compete with games like ACC and Assetto Corsa. Although the developers are a very new organization, they have experience from members who have worked on other projects, such as Forza Motorsport.
The simulator focuses on absolute realism, and although it is built with the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine, the physics have been developed completely independently from scratch.

Confirmed cars
So far, some GT3 cars and the Porsche Mission E concept car have been confirmed, which suggests a greater variety of races in RennSport beyond GT3, as we see in Assetto Corsa Competizione. The developers also hope to include rally and historical cars, which could make this simulator very versatile.

Platforms and pricing model
RennSport will be released first on PC, with support for VR, and although a console version has not been confirmed, it has not been completely ruled out. The currently planned pricing model is interesting, as the game will be free for limited content, with the rest locked behind “paywalls”.
