Things are getting interesting with the PSVR2 coming out in a few days for the PlayStation 5. On the other hand, there is already a movie announced for this summer for the saga that boasts some innovative shots that are not so much.
Kazunori Yamauchi and Neill Blomkamp were in Las Vegas to talk about the movie for the saga and the technological advancements they have used for filming. There they told us about the innovations they had introduced in the film to make it resemble what we have in the game, with a third-person camera shot that follows the car, just like one of the most popular shots historically used in Gran Turismo.”
“There they talked to us about the benefits of Sony’s filming and capture equipment, although if we look a little bit among other current films we find these scenes from Game Night that have exactly the same third-person camera that Sony takes pride in for the new movie.
I have no idea if the same people are involved or if they themselves were aware before of what had been done four years ago, although according to the IMDB files it seems that there is no coincidence. Curiosities that we find on the internet.
The movie is set to be released on August 11, 2023. In the meantime, you can watch Game Night on Amazon Prime.”
