The “early release” version of this car is available now, but will not be the final version of it. Since the car does not race in reality yet (it will in the last half of 2021), iRacing will be bringing out updates to make it as close as possible to the real thing once it starts to run in the circuits.
Remember also, that the real steering wheel of this car will be manufactured by Fanatec and will be compatible with the bases Podium of this brand. Yes, as you read, the steering wheel of the real BMW M4 GT3 will be on sale to the public and will be compatible with the simulators.
This new BMW, will replace the BMW Z4 to complete VRS GT3 roster series along with other cars in that category. In addition, it will be the companion of the new Lamborghini Hurricane Evo GT3 in the GT3 class of the IMSA Sportscar Championship series, where they race alongside the GTE and LMP2
