Thrustmaster: New Control Panel Available For T818

Thrustmaster offers us two quite enticing pieces of news. One of the weaknesses of the French ecosystem has been, until now, the software surrounding its devices. It’s software that is divided into various modules and looks like it’s been stuck in the 90s.

Now, a beta has been launched for those willing to try out a new panel.

Furthermore, we have an offer from wholesalers regarding the T818 base with Ferrari customization via the SF1000. The best of the French company with a 10 euros discount off its usual price.

Thrustmaster T818 Ferrari

To us, the base seems quite decent with its sustained 10Nm and providing support to its entire existing ecosystem.

Soon there will be more steering wheels available, such as the Ferrari 488 GT3, all taking advantage of its partnership with Ferrari to make a strong comeback in a market that had been put on hold awaiting its new base. Here are the features:

  • Direct Drive Technology: Provides a constant torque of up to 10 Nm, without saturation.
  • Unfiltered power: Game effects are represented without any filtering, to achieve an incredibly detailed experience that is faithful to the game developer’s intentions.
  • Esports-caliber Force Feedback: Smooth, powerful, and turbocharged, to convey every detail to the driver and help achieve outstanding performance in competitions. Formula
  • Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition: 1:1 scale replica of the racing monoplane’s steering wheel, with up to 69 information elements available through the 109 mm screen.
  • Next-generation Quick Release Steering Wheel Mounting System: 5 seconds is all it takes to switch between Thrustmaster steering wheels equipped with the Quick Release Adapter or next-generation Thrustmaster steering wheels.
  • Backward and forward compatibility: Compatible with all steering wheels, pedal sets, and other add-on devices from Thrustmaster, and designed to be compatible with future products in the Thrustmaster driving ecosystem.
  • Dynamic LEDs: Customizable hexagonal ring of RGB LEDs on the front of the steering wheel base, ready to interact with game telemetry data. Officially licensed Ferrari product, with red metal plates and the Scuderia Ferrari logo. Included mounting system for desktop or table (1.5 cm to 4.1 cm thick); also compatible with cockpits. PC compatible.

The package includes the steering wheel along with desk mounts and Ferrari customization for 980 euros. If we buy everything separately from the official store, it costs 1099 euros.
